In 2014, two strong businesses joined forces to become CB Fashion: CB and Fashionwheels.
Fashionwheels was established in 1996 in Helmond, the Netherlands. Its founders had many years of experience in the fashion industry, including warehousing, retail distribution, international fashion transport and customs services. Very soon, the company started to attract renowned customers and international brands. Since opening the first distribution centre in Helmond in 1999, warehouse capacity has increased to 100,000 m² for hanging and flat-packed garments, shoes and accessories. On top of that, a global network of agencies and an exclusive European partner network have been built.
Since 1871, CB has been the distribution specialist in the book industry. Because of its experience in logistics and its extensive transport network, it has grown to become one of the leading logistics players in the Netherlands and Belgium. From 2012 it has started entering new markets, including the fashion and healthcare markets. At that time it also changed its name from Centraal Boekhuis into CB, to reinforce its diversification strategy.
